Children must be at least 6 years of age to attend. Kindergarteners may start mid-school AS SOON as they turn six years old but are encouraged to register at the beginning of the school year as space is limited!
TANF Grant Information
The Boys & Girls Club of the Arkansas River Valley has been awarded a grant to cover membership fees for Russellville K-5th grade students. There have been updates to the TANF qualification by DHS. Receiving free or reduced lunch no longer qualifies your child.In order to be part of the TANF grant, you or your child must receive one of the services below:
Transitional Employment Assistance (TEA)
Medicaid or CHIP (Including ARKids)
Supplemental Security Income (SSI) or Supplemental Security Disability (SSD)
Woman, Infant, & Children (WIC)
Housing and Urban Development (HUD), Section 8 or Public Housing
Workforce Innovation and Opportunities Act ( WIOA)
If you are applying to receive your child's membership through the TANF grant, you will need to bring a letter of eligibility within three business days of applying to the Russellville Club Monday-Friday between 9:00 AM and 1:00 PM to complete registration.Space is limited and TANF is awarded on a first come first serve basis. Your child’s spot is not secure until you have completed the required paperwork at the Club Office.We have a 3 day a week average attendance requirement.
